GRV reports up to 1,637ppm uranium from chemical assay at Oasis project in QLD

Company could be on the tail of Alaskite deposit similar to Rossing in Namibia

More drilling planned to test depth and strike extensions

Special Report: Greenvale Energy has reported high-grade uranium in maiden drilling at its Oasis project in Queensland, confirming the asset’s outstanding growth potential.

The company is looking to confirm and extend historical results at the project, which shows signature trademarks of an Alaskite deposit – similar to the Rossing deposit in Namibia.

So far, Greenvale Energy (ASX:GRV) has confirmed both laboratory chemical assays and spectral gamma logging has returned high-grade mineralisation both at depth and along strike.

Notable assay results include 9m at 758ppm U3O8 from 40m down-hole (25GRV01) including 1m at 1,637ppm U3O8 from 40m down-hole and 1m at 1,466ppm U3O8 from 47m down-hole.

Spectral gamma logging has returned 4.7m at 786ppm eU3O8 from 279.1m down-hole (25GRV03), including 0.9m at 1,425ppm eU3O8 from 282.7m down-hole, subject to confirmation via assay.

The deposit is still open down dip and future exploration is planned that will test the open-ended potential along strike to the north and south.

“These outstanding initial results have reinforced our confidence in the potential of the Oasis uranium project,” CEO Alex Cheeseman said.

“The strong correlation between the available historical data, field-based logging, spectral gamma logging and the assay results from 25GRV01 clearly demonstrate the quality of the deposit and its excellent growth potential.

“The depth extension achieved by drill-hole 25GRV03 is an excellent outcome and provides us with an immediate opportunity to further test depth targets along strike.

“Assay results are still pending for nine drill holes, and we plan to conduct another round of spectral gamma logging at the conclusion of the current program.

“This is an outstanding start to Greenvale’s first-ever uranium drilling program in Australia, and we are looking forward to continuing to build momentum as a successful uranium explorer and developer.”

The Oasis drilling program is now approaching completion, with only two holes (25GRV11 and 25GRV12) remaining to be drilled.

These holes will test deeper structural positions directly beneath zones of known uranium mineralisation, providing an important assessment of the potential for extensions at depth.
